Size: 4,500 SF of Concrete Pavers, 3,000 SF P.C.C. Sidewalk, 500 SY of P.C.C. Pavement, 730 Plantings, 9 Entrance Reconstructions
Construction Cost: $420,000.00

Features: Rebuilding of the existing sidewalk and curbs with concrete pavers and P.C.C. sidewalk.  Installation of street lights benches and trash receptacles.  Complete rebuilding of stairways and handrails to existing business, installation of planters containing trees and perennials complete with an irrigation system.

Brief Description: A transformation of the Downtown corridor from First Street to Second Street.  Deteriorated concrete sidewalks and curbs were replaced with concrete pavers and new concrete.  Stairway entrances to business were reconstructed as ramps or stairways with ornamental handrails.  Planters marked with the Papillion logo were installed and filled with perennials and trees, benches were installed at the corners and within the block to allow pedestrians locations to relax or meet.
