Geotechnical Engineering
Soil mechanics matter. That’s why we’re here.
Applying the principles of soil mechanics to engineering problems is the heart of TD2’s geotechnical engineering services. We are experts at providing robust subsurface soil sampling and testing and the reports to go with them. Using today’s state-of-the-art methods and expertly interpreting the results are the keys to successful project outcomes and what we do for you and your project.
Contact us today about sampling and testing the soil for your project.
Our services include:
- Soil testing – Soils tests are conducted in our newly expanded laboratory to complement field tests and the field boring log. Our licensed professional engineers analyze results of field and laboratory tests to determine the geotechnical properties of the encountered conditions.
- Exploration drilling and sampling – Soil samples obtained by our sampling staff are preserved and transported to our soil testing laboratory in appropriate containers to reduce disturbance.
- Geotechnical Analyses – The collected data is analyzed to determine design parameters for foundation elements, settlement estimations, slope stability, and other geotechnical analyses as dictated by your specific project requirements. A written report is prepared summarizing the exploration results along with the professional engineering recommendations and conclusions.
